Steve Barnes has made a name for Bulldog Construction by making it his goal to always listen to what is being said by his clients, which for some contractors has become a lost art.  Too often the opinion of a contractor or an architect can get in the way of what the homeowner wants, but Steve realizes that the contractor and architect are not going to be living in the house when all is said and done.  This is what motivates Steve to take the time to talk with his clients, and gain the insight into their vision that is necessary to take a vision and construct a reality.

Steve is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a degree in business administration, and has been involved with the custom home building and general construction business for more than 25 years.

Steve holds a California State Contractor's License (#738734), and is a member of the California Real Estate Inspection Association as a certified Building Inspector.  He has worked extensively with many of the major Los Angeles area real estate firms, including Marcus & Millichap, Sperry Van Ness, and Re/Max, regarding the development of highly detailed inspection reports for various commercial and residential properties.

Bruce and Steve have known and worked together for 25 years and have worked together under the BCI banner for over twelve.  Our reputation has rested on providing our construction expertise and management capabilities to a business that has never experienced a slow period in those years, much of which is due to Bruce's dedication to the projects he oversees and his attention to each and every detail of the construction process.

Chris Holmes -- Office Manager:

Chris Holmes joined the Bulldog Team over seven years ago and has proved himself to be highly effective at his job, which includes the management and oversight of all of our projects, working in tangent with Bruce and the subcontractors to ensure that the day-to-day activities run smoothly, along with his interactions with our clients, which are obviously a key to the success of BCI.  In short, Chris serves as the point man for just about everything that goes on at the Bulldog office. 

John David Tong -- Business Manager:

John is the administrative "man behind the curtain" in many ways, producing the necessary paperwork that allow Chris and Bruce the time to interact on a more personal and direct level with our clients.  Wordsmith, tech guy, go to man for special projects, anything Bulldog might need, John's the man for the job. 

Leticia Cruz -- Administrative Assistant:

Leticia's our newest member, but in that time she has shown herself to be an exemplary assistant.  Whether you need a happy voice on the phone, someone to run an errand at a moment's notice, or maintain the files and records, Leticia can handle just about anything you throw at her.  We checked, and Leticia has not missed a day of work yet.  That's dedication!
